Well, I wonder as I start reading this, who is going to read it. Who in the whole wide world would want to read what I write.
I have to admit, I got the idea from Julie Rafter off packed to the rafters ... well in some ways we are alike, as I have three grown kids and a toddler.. with the exception that they were not on a second marriage and I suppose that makes us different. Some people said that I was crazy, what with a 19 year old, 17 year old and a 13 year old, at the stage where we could go out to dinner or go out on the boat fishing all day by ourselves as all the kids were old enough to stay at home without burning the place down.
However, along comes number 4 born 20th December 2010, a beautiful little girl and me at 40 years of age.Being a mum again is awesome, I feel so comfortable doing it all over again and certainly a lot more confident.
It was a real gift to her older brother and sisters too, they all adore her and she gets spoilt rotten, although strange that her older siblings have never appeared when she wakes during the night or has been up all night, they seem quite happy to leave that bit to mum!!
To add to all my clan of four, I also have two step sons. So altogether we have three boys and three girls, YES and I can hear you humming the brady bunch theme in the back ground! No sadly we do not have an Alice, I am also the Alice. ...
Did I mention I home school my 13 year old who has aspergers? I did have her in a high school but it has not worked out so I am happy to home school her as she was struggling with bullying and just the general way that she was being treated by some of the teachers in that particular school.
What else can I say, probably alot more but this is my introduction. In my other blogs I will no doubt pull bits out of this and expand on it. There is so much more I could write, from Home school, step parenting, being an older mum, the corrupt child support agency that rips off second families, the terrible time I had with my husbands ex wife, the time I have had with my 17 year old daughter who was a run away, my son who is terribly addicted to the x box and computer games, only works part time and he just will not come out of his room, my daughter who has aspergers and of course my little one.
I must not of course forget to mention my husband in all of this!!
